The Environment and Climate Change of Canada has published the result of the second phase of the polymer rapid screening assessment.

This Assessment establishes the final decision that 283 polymers do not pose a threat to human health or the environment. As a result, they will not be regulated under the Canadian Environmental Protection Act, 1999 (CEPA).

This result was released on April 7, 2018.
