On October 10, 2018, Health Canada has released NOP/ADP-0030 which contains the notice regarding the proposal to enable the use of protein-glutaminase from chryseobacterium proteolyticum AE-PG as a food enzyme in various standardized and unstandardized Foods.

This notice also requests Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) as a maximum level use for the enzyme.

Health Canada is accepting public comments until December 23, 2018.
