Chile’s Ministry of Health has proposed amendments to Articles 13, 14, 66 and 107 of the Food Health Regulations. This regulation specifies the minimum requirements for the traceability of food.
The proposal amends Articles 13, 14, 66 and 107 of the Food Health Regulations, Supreme Decree No. 977⁄96 of the Ministry of Health.
The regulatory strategy adopted consists of making essential changes to the Food Health Regulations and to address minimum operative aspects as part of a mandatory generic standard for food establishments.
The proposal is open for comments until February 3, 2018.
