The Ministry of the Environment and Food of Denmark has issued Order No. 327 Executive Order on Restrictions on Import and Sales and Manufacturing for Exports in the EU of Electrical and Electronic Equipment Containing Certain Hazardous Substances.

This Order provides safety, labeling, and conformity requirements that must be complied with before placing electrical and electronic equipment on the market.

The presence of one or more substances higher than the corresponding concentration limits, provided in Annex 2, is prohibited in electrical and electronic equipment, cables and spare parts. Annex 2 also contains restrictions, period of validity and exceptions which apply to DEHP, BBP, DBP and DIBP.

The substances provided in Annexes 3 and 4 may only be used according to the extent and period of validity indicated in the annexes.

This Order will be enforced from July 1, 2018.
