The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) has calls for evidence on substances in single-use nappies — questions and answers.
This call is intended to gather information on the use of certain chemicals identified as of concern in single-use baby nappies. The information gathered will be used to assess the risk on an EU-wide basis and assess the socio-economic impacts of the proposed restriction.
This document is complementary to the ECHA webinar that was organized on 30 January 2020. The webinar can be viewed via the following link:
This document is presented in the form of ‘questions and answers’. It is based on questions received from stakeholders during the webinar. This document might be revised based on feedback, or if additional questions are received from stakeholders.
The call for evidence is open until March 31st, 2020.
