The Los Angeles City Council has voted to pass Council File Number: 18–0538 on the Prohibition on the Manufacturing and Sale of Fur Products.

This document prohibits the manufacturing and sale of fur products in The City of Los Angeles, California.

The Los Angeles City Attorney is tasked to draft the formal ordinance in line with the vote. The draft is expected to be available in a month.

The prohibition will take effect two years from the day it is signed into law.
