Thailand’s Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is consulting the public on the Draft MOPH Notification, B.E, entitled “The Labeling of Prepackaged Foods (No. 3).”

This Notification proposes to revise the labeling of food in containers. The types of food that should contain warning messages are the following:

  • Foods with objects used to maintain the quality or standard of food packaged in a separate container but included in the food container and sold directly to the consumer.
  • Food with Aloe Vera
  • Food with gingko leaves and ginkgo leaf extracts
  • Sugar or sweeteners

This notification is open for public consultation until January 29th, 2019
