Turkey’s Ministry of Trade and Customs has published a notification amending the requirements for the conformity inspection of some consumer products.

This amendment specifies additional reference standards that will be considered about the conformity (the product meets essential requirements or not) of the products that are stated in the annex. This amendment also sets new requirements about decorative products growing in liquid, balloon with volatile gas which presents high risk to consumers with different/false uses.

Once enacted, this proposal will be enforced on July 2, 2018.
