UL Consumer & Retail Services is expanding its global footprint by signing a partnership agreement with AsemhLab, a third-party Mexican laboratory.
Thanks to this partnership, UL will be able to deliver numerous benefits to their clients, especially with the verifiying the quality and safety of products such as:
- Textiles and Footwear
- Toys and Childcare Articles
- School Items
- Other Consumer Products
With more than 20 passionate experts and a state-of-the-art facility in Mexico City, AsemhLab is accredited by EMEA (Mexican Accreditation Entity), authorized by COFEPRIS (Federal Commission for the Protection Against Health Risks) and uses accredited standard methods to verify safety and quality of consumer products.
UL CRS and AsemhLab have the same priorities: anticipate customers’ needs and provide them with quality services and solutions to launch safe and successful products to the marketplace.
“Combining synergies of both companies will allow us to faster satisfy customer needs” says Gerardo Aceves Lopez, Manager Director of AsemhLab. “We consider this agreement as the ideal strategic partnership in order to develop successful processes and services when competing nationally and internationally”.
“We are happy now to expand our footprint with this experienced laboratory — continues Christian Gerling, General Manager of UL CRS EMEALA — especially considering that Latin America is expanding in the global market landscape”.
