UL is happy to welcome Mike Haller, Technical Manager of UL Everclean. This role will oversee the Technical Food Safety Team as well as Client Technical Programs.
Mike served as a Program Manager for the Orange County Environmental Health’s Food & Pool Safety Program where he oversaw a team of 105 field inspectors and 12 supervisors for the past 12 years of his 25 year career with Orange County. His duties also included overseeing the Illness Prevention Section, Housing & Institutions and the Lead Program. Mike participated as a steering committee member for the Waste Not OC coalition team, a team committed to ending food hunger and insecurity in Orange County. Additionally, he was the Chair for the California Retail Food Safety Coalition and a Coordinator for an emergency response team assigned to the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station (SONGS). Mike also is an adjunct instructor at Cal State University San Bernardino teaching a “Foodborne Illnesses and Their Prevention” course.
Mike joined Orange County Environmental Health after a 1 year internship with San Bernardino County Environmental Health and holds a B.S. degree in Environmental Health and a B.A. Degree in Biology from California State University- San Bernardino and a Masters of Public Health degree from California State University- Fullerton.
